- State of Georgia v. Greg D. Alspach (June, 1998) -- This is the latest in a growing list of decisions finding helmet laws vague in the absence of clear standards of a list of approved helmets. More are sure to come. CONGRATULATIONS!
- Ferro v. Lewis (January 10, 1998) -- "Helmet Mike" Lewis has got to be a bit disappointed with this one, but no reason to be. The decision just reaffirms our position that helmet laws are vague . . . why else would these renoun justices be saying such stupid stuff?
- State of Washington v. Spears (January 8, 1998) -- Washington Supreme Court set aside the impact of the 1994 decision in Maxwell by finding Washington's helmet law constitutional.
- State of Washington v. Maxwell (June 28, 1994) -- States that a helmet law that requires the consumer to wear a helmet that complies with FMVSS 218 is vague.
- Pennsylvania v. Hull (January 8, 1998) -- The Pennsylvania Superior Court, on appeal, upheld the Pennsylvania Helmet Law, with a powerful dissent.
- ABATE of Oregon v. Howard (March 1997) -- The judge almost gets it, but close enough.
